As promised, here is picture number two from yesterday to make up for the missed day of posting. The goal is to post everyday, but family comes first and I couldn’t take time away from my son playing with birthday presents and getting ready for his birthday party we held today.

As posted earlier, we took him to a St. Louis Cardinal game to celebrate his birthday.

The Cardinals were taking on the Cleveland Indians, and although the Indians managed to take 2 of three from the redbirds, we were lucky enough to be in attendance at the one game St. Louis won.

This bonus shot from yesterday is the scoreboard with fireworks going off of Jason Motte was able to record the last out and secure the victory.

The clock on the scoreboard proves how quick this game was. With only 10 hits in the entire game, and several 1-2-3 innings on both sides, the game lasted on 2 hours and 15 minutes. It was a great day and we would’ve been happy to stick around longer, but with his birthday party today, heading home and getting to bed wasn’t a bad thing, either!
